Sacramento almost won yesterday at LA against the Clippers, even though they were down by 20 points early on the second quarter. The good news is that they have some depth and their coach doesn't hesitate in benching players who aren't having a good day. The Clippers struggled a bit from the outside with 5-17 3pts and scored just 2 fast break points! On the other hand, they dished 26 assists. The Kings took advantage of the Clippers' poor spot, who scored 57 points during the first half, but then ran out of gas. Even though they are improving, the Kings' perimeter defense continues to struggle and they've allowed 10 treys on each of their last three games.
This isn't good news for them, as they will face a Lakers team that is built to shoot treys. In fact, the Lakers have made at least 10 treys on each of their last six games, with the exception being on a bad spot game at Denver, where they made eight. So, the Lakers will have a good matchup today. On the other side, DeMarcus Cousins will have a big edge on offense over the Lakers' frontcourt, while Isaiah Thomas's speed will be too much for the Lakers' slow guards. Both teams like to play fast and looking at the offensive edges they will have today, I expect this game to be a very high scoring one. Therefore, I'll be taking the Over in here.

NBA - 507 Utah Jazz @ 508 Oklahoma City Thunder

Oklahoma City was indeed prepared to crush the Clippers. They were sloppy on their previous game against the Nuggets, but they bounced back on protecting the basket against the LA team. They allowed Denver to shoot 21-28 FG at the rim, but just 10-18 FG against the Clippers. On offense, the Thunder scored 105 points against the Clippers, even though they shot 4-19 3pts and 19-29 FT. They have a good spot for tonight, they are rested and at home and their next game is just next Tuesday also at home against the Spurs.
Utah is coming from a loss at Dallas, where they were down by 28 points at one point. They managed to cut back the lead, as Dallas facilitated that during the second game, as they were coming from a mega game against Houston and they would be playing at Denver in the following night. On the other hand, Utah's bench got more playing time due to the score and they just couldn't miss! Jeremy Evans shot 7-7 FG, Diante Garrett 3-3 FG, Alec Burks 5-10 FG and even Marvin Williams shot 7-13 FG! They managed to get good numbers by shooting near the basket, something normal as Dallas's interior defense is poor. Things will be much tougher for them today, as while Dallas is allowing 67% FG at the rim, the Thunder are allowing just 56.7% FG since Russell Westbrook returned from injury.
The Jazz also keep being outrebounded and coach Tyrone Corbin mentioned that he may replace Enes Kanter with Marvin Williams in the starting lineup. I don't see how this may change these poor rebounding numbers. With the Jazz not having an edge on offense down low, they will be screwed because their outside shooting is very poor. Oklahoma City is on a nice spot, so they will crush Utah while having a huge offensive game and therefore, I'll be taking the Thunder today.
