Baltimore will start Scott Feldman tonight, who will be rested, as his last start was in August 03. Arizona's lineup was terrible on their series against the Mets, so with the morale down, I believe that Feldman will have a decent outing tonight.
On the other hand, the Dbacks will start Wade Miley, who allowed just one earned run in seven innings against Tampa Bay last Tuesday. Miley has allowed three runs or fewer in each of his last 12 starts. Miley looked especially impressive on his last three starts, including two outings against the Rays. But the truth is that even though Miley is left-handed, he struggles against LH batters with .300 BA, .345 wOBA and 3.68 FIP allowed! These are great news for Baltimore's LH batters! Miley's zone% has been falling over his last starts, while his velocity is also down a bit. Now against the Orioles, I expect Miley to finally struggle. Baltimore has a better offense and also a better bullpen lately than Arizona, so I don't believe that the Dbacks' SP edge in here will be important enough for Arizona to win tonight. Therefore, I'll be taking the Orioles in here.
