Pittsburgh had a no-show yesterday, but things should be different tonight. They'll start A.J. Burnett tonight, who has been amazing lately with 1.38, 1.76, 2.90, 1.81 and 2.34 FIP on his last five outings! He is an extreme ground ball pitcher with 56.1%% GB%, so he should be prone to allow home runs tonight. On the other side, Juan Nicasio will start for the Rockies and he was recently crushed at Pittsburgh with four earned runs allowed in 4.1 innings. He is struggling versus RH batters this season with .277 BA and .332 wOBA, so the Pirates' lineup full of righties should be able to cause him problems. Pittsburgh has also a much better bullpen than Colorado, so I believe the Pirates have a clear pitching edge for tonight, so I'll be taking them in here.
