The Sixers are coming from a home loss against Dallas, where they really struggled offensively in the 2nd half, as they relied on their outside shooting and they couldn't hit a shot. However, I believe Philadelphia is headed to a bounce back in terms of their outside game, as the Wolves aren't a good perimeter defensive team, as they have been allowing 42% 3pts on their last 5 games and 40% 3pts on their last 10 games. Also their spot up defense is just ranked #21 with 0.97 PPP allowed!
Even though Philadelphia may struggle today in terms of rebounding against Pekovic and Love, I believe the Sixers have enough edges to counter this edge by the Wolves. Minnesota has a bad transition defense and I expect the Sixers today to be really aggressive on their bounce back spot by attacking the rim and having more free throw attempts than they had in their last game. Minnesota is coming from a game at Houston, where Love, Pekovic, Ridnour and Rubio all played more than 39 minutes, so this won't be a good physical edge for them. Also the Sixers will have a super edge in terms of the bench, which will allow them to have fresh legs down the stretch. Considering the bounce back spot of Philadelphia and the bad spot of the Wolves after a good road win in Houston, I believe the Sixers is the team in better conditions to win this game and so, I'll take Philadelphia today.
