Indiana finally snapped their 5-game losing streak by defeating New Jersey by 93-88. Granger had a big game with 10-20 FG and 32 points, but their frontcourt struggled again with West 6-16 FG, Hibbert 5-11 FG and Tyler 1-5 FG! Indiana shot just 9-22 FG on post up plays! However, they were aggressive and got 26 FT attempts and grabbed 16 offensive rebounds.
On the other side, Charlotte has also snapped their huge losing streak by winning on the road against Toronto, with a great offensive game. DJ Augustin was back to the starting lineup and he had 10 assists, helping the team to dish a total of 25 assists! They had 8 games in a row with 19 or less assists, so this number clearly says how well they played offensively. The Bobcats were efficient near the basket with 17-22 FG at the rim and 3-3 FG from 3-9 feet. However, 15 of their assists were from the outside! Charlotte also ran well with 8-10 FG in transition!
Today, I expect the Bobcats to have another decent offensive game, while Indiana's frontcourt will have a shot of a good game, as Charlotte has the worst post up defense in the league by allowing 0.93 PPP. Indiana has been struggling with their continuity and so, I believe it's too much to ask for them to blowout Charlotte today and so, I'll take the Bobcats in here. However, I expect a good offensive game from both teams today and so, I'll take the over in here as well.
