NBA - 819 Los Angeles Lakers @ 820 Phoenix Suns

This is a home-home series, as the Lakers defeated Phoenix at home last Friday on a fast paced game: 101.41 pace! This was a high scoring game, but both offenses weren't that great. However, it's quite remarkable how Phoenix dished 32 assists in their 41 FG made during the game! Still, the Suns shoot just 8-26 from the 3pts line and missed a lot of spot up plays with 10-23 FG: Nash 2-5, Dudley 0-2, Hill 0-2, Redd 1-4 and Frye 1-3! I believe Phoenix will have a better game today on this area. Even though the Suns struggled on their outside shooting, they took advantage of the bad transition defense of the Lakers to score 16 fast break points and shoot 9-15 FG on their transition plays.
On the other hand, Kobe had an amazing game and possibly Phoenix will make more trapping on Kobe today, which will lead to a big game by the Lakers frontcourt. Bynum had a reasonable game last Friday with 7-13 FG 17pts and 17reb, but Gasol struggled with 4-13 FG and 10 points, so I expect a bounce back from Gasol today. The Lakers also shot just 14-24 FG at the rim and I also expect an improvement from them on this area today. I believe we are headed into another fast paced game between these two teams, but where they should be more efficient offensively tonight than they were last Friday. Therefore, I came up with a totals projection of 193 points, good enough to take the over in here.
