Orlando is coming from a really humiliating game, where they were up by 27 points and they ended up losing! The Magic had 4 starters with 30min or more and let's not forget their super bad spot for tonight: 4 games in 5 nights, with a back to back: 01/23 @BOS, 01/24 @IND, 01/26 vs BOS and 01/27 @NOH! I believe Orlando will have some edge on the defense, as Howard will limit the Hornets frontcourt. New Orleans offense as we know excels in P&R Ball Handler (#3 with 0.86 PPP) and #8 on Offensive Rebound (1.16 PPP), but Orlando's defense in excellent on P&R Ball Handler (#2 with 0.66 PPP) and #8 on Offensive Rebound with 0.96 PPP. I believe Orlando will bounce back tonight with a great defense tonight, but what about their offense? I doubt they will improve on this area. This spot is just too tough and the Hornets is an excellent defensive team on Spot Ups, with #2 by allowing just 0.85 PPP! Besides that, the Hornets play at a really slow pace and therefore, I expect two good defensive performances allowing few points on a really slow game. So, I'll be taking the under in here.
