believe the Lakers have a great shot of winning this game. Their
offense is mostly based on Post Up plays (#2 with 0.94 PPP) and this is
where Orlando surprisingly struggles defensively (#28 with 0.92 PPP
allowed). Orlando will be once again without Hedo Turkoglu and also Glen
Davis is questionable due to a death in the family. With the Magic
lacking depth at the PF position, Gasol gets a great matchup tonight and
he is showing good form lately. Orlando's backcourt has been also
having some problems, with Nelson struggling and J-Rich is coming from
injury, so against a good perimeter defense like the Lakers, they are
heading into another poor night.
I expect this game to be similar to Orlando's game against San
Antonio, a slow paced game, with poor offensive efficiency and just
being decided down the stretch. The Lakers have Kobe for the clutch
situations, while Orlando will be without Hedo, who is their playmaker
for this kind of situations, so I have to give the edge to the Lakers
down the stretch. Therefore, I will be taking both the Lakers and the
