***TRIPLE DIME PLAY***
The Pacers are the best team in the league so far in the season because their defense simply doesn’t take days off…. On the other side, their offense is streaky but right now, we are dealing w/ a “red hot” IND offense and we must take advantage of that because obviously, their totals lines are always undervalued.
IND L4 games Off. Rtg = 125.9, 128.1, 120.4 & last game vs. GSW = 111.1! Not only their big men have been productive, but especially, IND is really shooting well from the outside w/ 33-77 3pts mark in those 4 games – a nice 42.9% 3pts!
This ability to hit outside shots will hurt PHX defense b/c they are so undersized down low that they have no other choice but to double IND’s big men and this will open some space @ outside for IND shooters that are red hot.
PHX’s game plan is quite predictable for this contest: RUN!!!
They know that they won’t have any chance in the half court against this Pacers’ defense, so they will push the pace at every chance and they have been pretty good doing that lately w/ 21.8 fast break points per game in L5 games!
IND’s pace factor this season = 91.2 but against Top11 fastest paced teams in the league = 94.2! I expect this contest to be almost a wild “run and gun” game w/ IND scoring easily both inside & 3pts shots while PHX will do their damage in transition & 3pts shots as well. We should be dealing w/ totals line of +202/204 points and so, I’m taking the Over in here as my Triple Dime Play!
