NBA Premium Card 01/19

NBA - 805 Milwaukee Bucks @ 806 San Antonio Spurs

Play #2

I didn't expect to see the Bucks involved in a fast paced game last night but they accepted the Rockets’ pace of the game and obviously, my Under play didn’t have a real chance to cash.

MIL slowly is getting their best players back and they could be relatively competitive tonight against a Spurs team that is without T. Splitter and especially, Tony Parker is banged up.

B. Knight & J. Henson had good offensive games last night vs. HOU and I expect them to have some edge in here vs. hobbled Parker & SAS team that is playing w/ Diaw @PF. MIL’s bench is quite decent w/ Mayo, Henson, Middleton and this can important for a potential backdoor cover.

NOTE: Tony Parker is OUT for this contest

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 805 Milwaukee Bucks (+15) -110 / 1.91 on 5 Dimes

NBA - 807 Sacramento Kings @ 808 Oklahoma City Thunder

Play #3

SAC is playing really as of late and I expect them to be a tough opponent for OKC tonight…

In a up and down contest, SAC is really a dangerous team due to their style of play but in the last game @MEM they were able to competitive against a Grizzlies team that is also playing well lately. Isaiah Thomas & Cousins didn’t have efficient offensive games, but didn’t prevent SAC to dominate MEM in the boards w/ 56.2% reb/rate% - big surprise for me b/c MEM is a beast in the boards.

For today, they will face the Thunder that will play vs. POR & SAS after today’s game, so I expect them to be a bit unfocused for this contest.

Kevin Durant had a historic night vs. GSW in the last game but again, OKC only had 23 assists… Eventually, Durant’s will solve this contest down the stretch, but we are dealing w/ a blowout line and IMO, we are getting some value w/ Underdog in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 807 Sacramento Kings (+8.5) -110 / 1.91 on 5 Dimes

NBA - 809 Denver Nuggets @ 810 Phoenix Suns

Play #4

***DOUBLE DIME PLAY***

Right now, DEN is playing better basketball than PHX…

They lost in the last game vs. CLE especially because their frontcourt had a subpar game – they were outrebounded w/ 45.95% Reb/rate% - something rare lately b/c in the previous 7 games, their reb/rate% avg = 54.7%! K. Faried played sick and IMO this was the biggest factor for their loss.

On the other end, PHX is coming from 4 straight “favorable” matchups against team’s that don’t have “explosive” backcourt’s in DAL, LAL, NYK & DET and still PHX only won one of those 4 games. Their biggest problem has been shooting the ball from the outside:

The Suns hit a combined 21 3-pointers in those two victories but have been struggling from beyond the arc, going 18 of 71 (25.4 percent) in the last three games. They missed 15 of 22 attempts Friday in a 110-107 loss to Dallas.

The series is 2-0 for PHX but the Suns enjoyed better “spots” in those games: 1) in the first h2h, they faced a DEN team that was playing @b2b spot after a close win vs. ATL at home and 2) they faced the Nuggets in their worst moment of the season w/ Lawson banged up (3-11 FG 7 assists vs. 5 TO’s) while E. Bledsoe was still playing for PHX.

Now that Lawson is playing his best basketball of the season, I expect him to hang around vs. Dragic while w/ DEN shooting better from the outside vs. PHX lack of confidence, I believe that DEN will win this contest and therefore, I’m playing the Nuggets as my Double Dime Play!

Pick: 4 units (Double Dime Play) on 809 Denver Nuggets (+1.5) -110 / 1.91 on Betonline

NBA - 801 Los Angeles Lakers @ 802 Toronto Raptors

Play #1
I expect this contest to be quite similar to the one that the Raptors played already this week against the Bucks and ended up w/ 210 points, b/c TOR’s mindset will be IMO to “outscore” the Lakers in their game…

After losing @BOS, TOR bounced back and defeated MIN at home in the last game. Despite scoring “only” 94 points, note that TOR had a pretty efficient offensive game w/ 114 Off. Rtg! The “problem” was that the game had a ridiculous slow pace – it was the second slowest paced game of the season for TOR b/c offensively, TOR was red hot from the outside w/ 11-24 3pts and had a nice mark of 26 assists – a good sign for today’s game…

TOR’s Pick n roll game shouldn’t have any problems to score against LAL that is playing K. Marshall @ PG & frontcourt due of Pau Gasol & R. Kelly!

However, since K. Marshall is running the show in LA, the Lakers are showing some nice offensive flow – a first-pass PG playing for M. D’Antoni’s system is really a primary “need” for the team, and LAL has scored 118, 114 and 107 points! Because they play w/ such small ball lineups, I expect them to cause some problems to TOR defense that usually plays w/ 2 “bigs” in Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas!

My Fair line for this contest is 206/208 points and therefore, I’m playing the Over in here as my Single Dime Play!

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 801/802 Over 203.5 -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
