The Celtics did in the last game what I was expecting they would do in game 3 so I guess the timing was wrong for me to unload a top play on them.
Nevertheless we won easily with the Celtics and they showed an incredible offensive flow in the first half, sure that some shots they hit were tough shots but their tempo was formidable and Ray Allen looked great coming off the bench. With this new found “momentum” going to tonight’s game I really think that the Hawks will have some problems to stop Boston’s offense. It’s just the case of the stronger team winning basketball games.
For the Hawks, Al Horford returned in the last game and he looked “fine”. He made some good shots and his presence vs. Jason Collins/Ivan Johnson is a huge upgrade offensively for Atlanta but I also saw him being completely destroyed for a quicker Kevin Garnett! According to some reports, he will start at center tonight so we can expect the Hawks to have a tradeoff between better offense and worse defense.
Joe Johnson said after the game that he wanted more the ball; Al Horford is now starting for the hawks; Josh Smith is using a high rate of ATL’s possessions and now Tracy McGrady is now asking for a big role… the problem is that there is only one ball to play and the Celtics are clicking right now, goodbye Atlanta! I also believe that tonight’s game will be highest scoring game of the series!
