Spanish Liga BBVA Round 5 Free Premium Play: Sevilla @ Valencia

Sevilla @ Valencia

Game Time: Sunday, 3:00 PM EST

This game has a 2.75 totals line and it seems completely overrated in my opinion, as we aren't in presence of a regular game, as both teams aren't in a normal spot in here. Valencia is currently under huge pressure due to some terrible late results. After winning their first league game against Malaga, Valencia lost three times in a row for the Spanish league, while allowing three goals in each game! As if that wasn't enough, they were also crushed at home by Swansea by 3-0 last Thursday in an Europa League game. Due to their defensive issues, I expect Valencia to be extremely careful in here. They will make an extra effort on this contest, but that effort won't be made on offense, but on defense instead. Besides that, due to the high pressuring situation, Valencia will lack some discernment to convert the scoring chances they'll have on this game, something usual for teams under deep crisis.

On the other side, Sevilla is also in a struggling situation. With Osasuna's win over Elche last Friday, Sevilla is now dead last in the standings with just two points! Therefore, they will also feel quite pressured on this game. Sevilla won at Estoril by 2-1 last Thursday in an Europa League game and they were also able to score two goals in Barcelona last week. However, all these opponents gave a lot of space to Sevilla's offense, I don't believe this will be the case in here. Sevilla has allowed eight goals on their first four games of the season, but let's not forget that six of those goals were allowed against Barcelona or Atletico Madrid, two of the three best teams in the league. I believe we should have been dealing with a 2.5 goals line in here and so, considering the current totals line, I'll be taking the Under in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on Under 2,75 @ -116 / 1.86 on Pinnacle OR @ -117 / 1.85 on 5Dimes
