Malaga @ Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad is coming from a disappointing loss on Champions League against Shakhtar Donetsk, where I had a top play on them. Real Sociedad produced some quality scoring chances and they ended the game with 14 shots, but their lack of experience on this kind of competitions was indeed a factor, something I didn't expect to happen after watching them completely outplaying Lyon in the qualifying round. The good news is that Real Sociedad won't be pressured for this game and so, this is a good bouncing back for them.
On the other side, Malaga is now a very confident team. After three rounds, Malaga had just one point, but they deserved a lot more than that, as they had lost 0-1 against Valencia, then they pull a serious fight against Barcelona, where they lost by one goal, while at Sevilla they drew 2-2 after being up in the scoreboard until late in the game. So, once Malaga had an easier game last week, they crushed Rayo Vallecano by 5-0! Their striker Mounir El Hamdaoui scored three goals, while Malaga will deadly on their counter attacks, something that should happen on this game as well against Real Sociedad that will be offensive minded for sure.
From Real Sociedad's first four games in the league, only one of them had at least 3 goals scored, even though they had an offensive attitude in all of them. In my opinion, their Champions League campaign was on their mind and so, they weren't very focused on their league games, as they had a tough round against Lyon and then, they had their group stage debut. Now they should be much more focused on this league game. Even though Malaga is second last when it comes to ball possession percentage, they have a great defense-offense transition game that can create scoring chances quite often. They are #4 in the league in dangerous counter attacks with 4.8 plays/game, so I expect this game to be a high scoring game. Therefore, I'll be taking the Over in here.
