English Premier League Game Preview - West Bromwich Albion @ Fulham

English Premier League Round 4 Game Preview:

West Bromwich Albion @ Fulham

Game Time: Saturday, 10:00 AM EST

These two teams are currently in the bottom of the league, with Fulham having three points thanks to a win on their first game of the season, where they scored a goal on their sole shot on target during the whole game, while WBA has just one point for now, with no goals scored on three games! The offensive inability of both teams is quite visible on the stats boards:

Shots per game: Fulham #19 w/ 8.0 vs. WBA #17 w/ 9.3
Ball Possesion%: Fulham #15 w/ 44.7% vs. WBA #18 w/ 42.3%
Build Up offensive plays: Fulham #18 w/ 6.0 vs. WBA #17 w/ 7.0

With both teams coming for this game quite pressured by their poor start of the season, this game won't likely be pretty to watch due to the poor ability of both teams of creating scoring chances. Fulham continues to have problems at the back as well with Kieran Richardson still sidelined, while center back Aaron Hughes missed International duty in the week. On the other side, WBA made some late signings at the trade deadline by acquiring Stephane Sessesgnon, Victor Anichebe and Morgan Amalfitano, who may debut for them this weekend.

In a potential tight game, I lean towards WBA AH +0.5, as Fulham is overrated in here by getting almost 50% chances of probability to win this game based on current odds. We have a pure 2.5 goals totals line in here to work with, but with both teams struggling offensively so much, I have to lean on the under in here.
