NBA - 509 Phoenix Suns @ 510 Oklahoma City Thunder
Projected line: Oklahoma City by 15 points
This is just a super bad spot for Phoenix, as they will be playing on a back to back spot, plus this will also be their 3rd game in 4 nights! They got yesterday a very nice win at New Orleans, but their starters had heavy minutes, in comparison with their first two games of the season: Hill played 33min, Gortat 30min, Nash 36min and Dudley 33min! Tonight, they will face a super athletic team like the Thunder, so this is clearly a fade spot for them, just like in their home game against the Sixers. The matchup between Nash and Westbrook will be a complete nightmare for the former MVP, as Nash is far from his best level. He played well last night by dishing 12 assists, but he still shot 2-8 FG (9-29 FG on his last 3 games!) and that's clearly not normal for one of the best pure shooters on the history of the league! Phoenix has been terrible offensively on the outside and on this terrible spot, things only tend to get worse!
On the other side, Oklahoma City had a tough stretch, with 4 games in 5 days, with a home-road-road-home sequence and the truth is that in their last game at home against Dallas, they committed a lot of errors, a clear consequence of having tired legs. They were badly outrebounded with a 34% vs 20% differential on Off Reb/Rate! They had one day to rest at home and so, they will be rested. The Thunder are deadly on transition plays with 1.25 PPP and Phoenix is a bad defensive team by allowing 1.20 PPP!
Besides this, the Thunder has also have a better bench than Phoenix and considering the good spot for them and the terrible one for the Suns, I expect a huge blowout for Oklahoma City on this home game on a special day. Therefore, I'll take them in here for a classic blowout win.
Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 510 Oklahoma City Thunder (-11,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
