Charlotte at Orlando |
NBA - 501 Charlotte Bobcats @ 502 Orlando Magic Projected lines: Orlando by 15 points Both teams will play a back to back game, but for Charlotte, this will also be their 5th game in 6 days: worst possible spot, with the "bonus" of having given heavy usage to their starters yesterday: Henderson 35min, Mullens 36min, DJ 40min and Walker 38min! Yesterday against Cleveland, their defense had once again the same problem of being unbelievably bad near the basket, as Cleveland scored 54 points in the paint, with 24-39 FG at the rim! Besides that, they can't defend transition plays. Cleveland had 12-17 FG in transitions and scored 21 fast break points! If it wasn't for the outside struggles of the Cavs with 4-15 3pts and Cleveland would have had a super offensive game! On the other side, Orlando is red hot from the outside and in my opinion, a back to back game won't affect that. Howard is coming from a tough game at New York yesterday where he had a duel with Chandler, but today against the Bobcats, he will have a field day against Mullens and any other big man of the Bobcats! I expect some struggles from Charlotte, as they need to score near the basket to have some offensive efficiency, as shown yesterday where they attacked well the rim with 20-30 FG. However, this good performance won't be repeated today against Orlando, who has a very good rim defense with Howard. In the last game between these two teams, Orlando easily defeated Charlotte on the road, as the Magic are certainly one of the toughest teams for a team like the Bobcats can face. Howard will be a huge mismatch in favor of the Magic today and with their outside shooting looking unstoppable right now, I predict a very easy win for Orlando tonight by a very big margin. Therefore, I'll take Orlando in here. Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 502 Orlando Magic (-12) @ -110 / 1.91 on 5Dimes |
