NBA Premium Play 01/07: Charlotte Bobcats @ Indiana Pacers

NBA - 501 Charlotte Bobcats @ 502 Indiana Pacers

Projected line: 193 points

Indiana is like a hybrid team whose style adapts to the style of their opponents. Last night at Boston, the pace was super slow (81), but in their previous games at Miami and at home against Cleveland, the pace was super fast (95)! The Pacers are coming from a huge game and now against a lowly team, they will quickly adjust to play at a faster pace because Charlotte is now playing faster! Indiana's offense struggled on halfcourt, but on an open court, they can score! The Bobcats has been a terrible defensive team so far in the season and they have faced fast paced teams and allowed them 20, 30, 19 and 15 fast break points on those games (vs MIA x2, CLE and NYK). They also have problems in protecting the paint, so I'm expecting Indiana to have a good offensive game tonight!

On the other side, Charlotte's head coach Paul Silas is considering adding 7-footer Mullens to the lineup is definitely under strong consideration."If feels good. I'm not gonna lie," said Mullens, when told Silas was considering starting him. Silas is also thinking about using DJ Augustin and Kemba Walker together on the court, so expect the Bobcats to play small ball tonight! Remember that was the way they were able to beat the Knicks on the road! So, they will try to repeat the same recipe tonight. Indiana's defense may be great, but tonight I expect a small letdown from them in terms of effort, after last night's huge game at Boston. My projected line for this game is 193 points and therefore, I'll take the over in here.
