NBA - 509 Toronto Raptors @ 510 Philadelphia 76ers

Philadelphia by 7 points

We can expect a bounce back effort for Toronto today, after their complete no show last night: “We have to approach it like we’re a desperate team each and every night,” Casey said. “This is great lesson for us. I thought New Jersey did a great job coming and playing like a desperate team, and we did not.; “There was 28 second chance points (for Jersey),” he added. “That’s a sign of not being physical in the paint, but goes back to us stepping on the court and playing desperate, not playing tight, but desperate ... a hungry team.”!

Yesterday, the Raptors weren't terrible on the fundamentals, but they were clearly outworked on ORR and FTR's! The question in here is to know if they will be able to slow down PHI's offense, as we already know that the Sixers offense needs fast breaks and easy shots because they are weak from the outside (Meeks can't have insane games on every game and he just had one last night!). Philadelphia is averaging 18.0 fast break points per game and they are shooting 72% FG from the rim! Toronto has an improved defense on these two areas this season, thanks to Casey's new defense system and they are allowing just 51% FG at the rim and 10.7 fast break points per game. Considering the fact that Philadelphia doesn't have a dominant big man, Toronto can surely rotate their defense quite well!

On the other side, Toronto's offense has been good at the rim with 71% FG and Philadelphia hasn't been performing well on this area and even last night, Detroit shot 20-28 FG at the rim. Basically, I expect a bounce back from Toronto in terms of effort and their defense should be capable of stopping the Sixers offense. On the other side, Toronto will have an offensive edge close to the basket and even though they may struggle from the outside shooting, I believe we have nice value on Toronto and I'll take them in here.

NOTE: (This was the line released for the Premium clients a couple of hours ago. I believe it's TOR +10 right now)

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 509 Toronto Raptors (+10,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
