I have no doubt that Chile will be one of the most exciting teams to watch in this Tournament! They play a beautiful attacking football and they will press high on the pitch regardless the level of their opponent. Obviously, being such an offensive minded team, it has some painful costs on the defensive end, but this Australian team doesn’t have the talent to take advantage of that.

The Australian team is quite inexperienced and their NT coach Postecoglu has them playing a quick, high tempo offensive football. Against inferior class competition, the Australians are a dangerous team, but against supreme gifted offensive teams, their offensive approach turns back against them… no wonder they have suffered (2013 & 2014) 3 goals against Romania, 3 goals from Japan, 6 (!) goals against Brazil, 6 (!) goals against France and already in this calendar year, they have allowed 4 goals to… Ecuador!

This bodes well for the Chilean team who will create several chances to score against them. Chile knows that they can’t afford to lose points against the weaker team of the group, while Spain battles Netherlands in the other game of the day.

I have Chile to win this contest by 2 goals and so, I’m taking them in here as my Triple Dime Play.
