Soccer World Cup Play 06/19: Greece vs. Japan

Soccer World Cup Play: Greece vs. Japan

I must confess that I’m a bit afraid of taking an “Under” in this World Cup… two games so far today = 2-0 OVER! Obviously, the books are adjusting to this avalanche of Over’s and for this last game we can get a 2.5-goals line at almost @-110.

In normal conditions, having the chance to get a 2.5-goals line in a game involving Greece = no brainer taking the UNDER. My fair line in here is 2.25 Goals.

On their first game vs. Colombia:

“There is nothing new about the Greeks – they will defend, they will concede ball possession to their opponents and try to score some goals in counter moves and especially in set pieces. This formula makes them painful to watch, but they are really competitive in that way.”

They suffered an early goal to Colombia and that ruined the Greeks traditional game plan… For today, I expect them to be once again conservative, give the ball possession to Japan and try to explore their size edge in set pieces.

Unlike Colombia, Japan doesn’t have the proper width on the wings to create mismatches on the Greeks’ defense and so, I expect Japan to have some problems in creating build-up plays.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on Under 2.5 Goals @ -115 / 1.87 on Pinnacle Sports (OR -119 / 1.84 on 5 Dimes)
