Sometimes losing a play can still bring good things if we can get a good read of that game and take advantage of that to help us in the future. This is exactly what happened in yesterday's game between Atlanta and Charlotte. The Bobcats were squashed by 30 points by a team who was playing a back to back game without Al Horford! Without their main frontcourt player, Atlanta still scored 52 points in the paint and made 22 FG's at the rim! Charlotte's head coach Paul Silas decided to start the game with a frontline composed by Tyrus Thomas, Boris Diaw and Byron Mullins and the Bobcats were completely outrebounded, thanks to a complete disorientation on the team's defense, with terrible positioning and zero awareness when they should help their team mates or not, a complete mess! Today, the Bobcats will most likely use the same lineup from yesterday and with no time to practise since yesterday, I don't believe their defense will get any better today, especially when their head coach didn't change the lineup or introduced changes in the defensive positioning of his players at half time yesterday to prevent the offensive avalanche of Atlanta to continue in the 2nd half!

This is going to be a huge problem for Charlotte, as Detroit has Greg Monroe and he has been simply amazing! Yesterday at Milwaukee, he scored 32 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, while shooting 7-8 FG at the rim! Detroit is coming from a loss against the Bucks, who are playing quite well right now, and even though they lost the game, they had their best performance of the season so far! The Pistons finally gave up on shooting from the outside (just 3-5 3pts!) and began to focus on their mid range game and in being aggressive in attacking the basket, having achieved 24 FT attempts during yesterday's game. With both teams playing on a back to back spot for tonight, I give the edge to the frontcourt of Detroit, as Monroe will generate more easy points than the Bobcats! Detroit may by 0-6 SU & ATS in their last 6 games, but they are clearly a better team than Charlotte right now! Therefore, I came up with a projection that points to Detroit being favored on this match by 4 points and so, I'll take the Pistons in here in a Triple Dime Play! Split the wager!
