NBA - 811 Chicago Bulls @ 812 Orlando Magic
Projected line: 177 points
Chicago had 4 big offensive games in their last 5 games, mainly thanks to the way they were able to play at Detroit and in their home game against Memphis, where they scored 33 and 25 fast break points respectively. The team was able to run very well and they simply had no opposition! Actually, the Bulls are averaging 20.5 fast break points per game this season, with 18.8% of their plays being on transitions with 1.11 PPP for the #14 best mark in the league! Chicago has been having problems in scoring at the rim, but as they are off rebound machines, they are able to compensate that. The team is obviously very strong on P&R Ball Handler with Rose (0.92 PPP) and post up plays with Boozer.
However, Orlando is always a very tough matchup for Chicago. First of all, they allow just 8.17 fast break points per game! Then, Orlando is obviously a good defensive rebounding team with Dwight Howard and this will limit Chicago's 2nd chance points. Also thanks to Howard, Orlando is a good team in defending P&R plays, so the matchup between the Bulls offense and the Magic defense won't be easy for Chicago. Noah hasn't been playing very well, so Orlando will have some edge at the center position.
On the other side of the court, Orlando is already trying 31.9% 3pts, Christ! But as Chicago is a good 3pts defense by allowing just 34%, I can expect Orlando to struggle offensively as well tonight. With both teams struggling on offense and with both defenses being capable of stopping their opponents' offense, I expect this game to be a low scoring affair. My projection gave me a line of just 177 points and so, I'll take the under in here.
Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 811/812 Under 181,5 @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
