NBA - 515 San Antonio Spurs @ 516 Golden State Warriors Play #3 Even when the Spurs couldn’t shoot from the outside (5-25 3pts), they were able to score 99 points @SAC last night mostly because they didn’t commit TO’s (just 9) and went 27x to the FT line. The Spurs held the Kings to just 79 points last night for their best defensive performance from a while but they were dealing with a selfish team that that is averaging 16 assists per game in L4 games. Tonight’s contest will feature two of the best passing teams in the league right now and so, I expect them to create plenty of good looking shots. GSW is averaging 25 assists per game in L9 games, they are also hitting 10 treys per game in L7 and their transition game has been super solid. I don’t have to speak much of the Spurs…their offensive flow is incredible and their continuity between first and second units is unique in the NBA. Most likely, Duncan won’t play tonight and usually, the Spurs plays “faster” without him! GSW will catch the Spurs in a b2b spot, so I expect them to push the pace and wear down the Spurs so we are dealing w/ a potential run and gun game, and so, I’m taking the Over in here as my Single Dime Play.
