This is a back to back game for Washington, as they had a close game against Indiana yesterday. The Wizards' starters didn't even play major minutes yesterday, as no starter played more than 34 minutes. Considering the fact that they were blown out by the Sixers in the previous three games of the series, I expect them to show some motivation for today. So, the Sixers may have some problems today against the Wizards showing good effort. The problems on the Wizards offense in the previous games of this series allowed Sixers to score 32, 21 and 17 fast break points, in games where everything was too easy to Philadelphia.
However, this won't happen today against this improved defense of Washington, who has allowed just their opponents to have 105 offensive rates in their last 10 games and 101.4 in their last 5 games, while they are allowing 110.5 offensive rates for the season! Their current lineup with Seraphin and Booker are fighting a lot, especially in comparison to their lineup in their last game against Philadelphia, which was composed by Wall, Young, Lewis, Blatche and McGee. On the other side, Washington will have a lot of problems on offense, as they keep releasing bad shots and with Philadelphia being a top defensive team, including on transition plays, I expect Washington to really struggle in having any kind of easy scores today. Therefore, I expect both teams to have a tough time on offense today and so, I'll be taking the Under in here! Considering the Wizards' effort for tonight, I'll be also taking Washington in here.
