Atlanta clearly had no energy yesterday, even though they were playing against a team on a back to back spot. Milwaukee easily scored in that game and for a lot of times, I saw Milwaukee making cuts on offense and the Hawks' players wouldn't even try to foul the opponents. That's why the Bucks hot 7-11 FG on cuts yesterday. This game was also a field day for Milwaukee's backcourt against the poor effort of Atlanta. Fortunately for them, Milwaukee has no interior defense and it was just too easy for Atlanta to pound down low and score a lot of points on the inside: 50 points in the paint, while dominating the boards. The key factor of Atlanta's loss was the 22 turnovers that originated 25 points off turnovers for Milwaukee. Today, the Hawks will be facing Chicago in a terrible 5in6 spot: vs NJN, @WAS, vs UTA, @MIL, vs CHI! On such a horrible spot, Atlanta have obviously a fade alert under them for today.
On the other side, Chicago is curiously coming from a game where their effort was clearly overmatched by Denver's. The Nuggets even won the boards battle by 34-14 in offensive rebound rates! At the same time, Denver pounded the Bulls down low with 21-37 FG and 7-14 FG from 3-9 feet. Chicago was outmuscled in that game and so, I expect a bounce back for them today against a very tired Hawks team. Unlike Milwaukee, Chicago's size down low will make Atlanta to shoot from the outside and with tired legs, I expect a disastrous offensive game for Atlanta today. This will be the 4th and last game of the series and Chicago is currently leading it by 2-1, while outrebounding the Hawks in all three games. I expect an easy win for Chicago today and therefore I'll take them in a Double Dime Play! Considering Atlanta's likely terrible offensive game, I'll be also taking the Under in here in a Single Dime Play.
