Golden State is coming from a home loss against Minnesota and with Biedrins out for today, the Warriors will have in Lee their only big man available for this contest. Lee shot 7-8 FG at the rim in the last game and the rest of the team shot 5-6 FG at this area, in a super low volume, as obviously they are a 95% jump shooting team right now with 7-25 FG from 16-23 feet and 10-26 3pts. With this, they were easily outrebounded once again.
The Hornets are coming from a nice win in New Jersey, after having lost at home against the Wizards on a super bad spot. Jason Smith is back, so New Orleans now have more available bodies on the front. They have a much better backcourt with Jack+Marco+Ariza, so I expect an edge in here, while their rebounding should be more than enough to outrebounded the Warriors, who have terrible rebounding skills. The Hornets allow 19,6 3pts attempts per game despite playing at the slowest pace in the league, but they have managed to allow their opposition to shoot only 31.4% 3pts so far, which will give them another edge on this contest. I expect a comfortable win for New Orleans today and so, I'll take them in here.
