Washington literally ran over the Hornets last night on a rare road win for them. The Wizards scored 27 fast break points, while shooting 11-13 FG in transition, in a complete show from John Wall! Their floor spacing was much better lately and according to various reports, the team was more aggressive on the offense, while defensively they didn't defend the cuts plays from the Hornets, who shot 12-19 FG, but the letdown spot of the Hornets helped Washington in getting the win.
On the other hand, Atlanta is coming from a road trip, but they should be able to have a good offensive night against the terrible defense of the Wizards. Washington scores a lot in transition, but they can't defend the transition plays from their opponents, in their last games had a combined of 36, 38, 44, 24, 46, 34 and 33 fast break points scored.
Atlanta doesn't have a good spot for today, but against fast paced teams, they are capable of taking advantage of the poor defenses to score a lot, as shown by the fact they have averaged 17 fast break points in their last 4 games. I don't believe they will have problems in scoring tonight, while Washington should also score a good bunch of points against Atlanta in a bad spot. Therefore, I expect a fast paced game in here with good offensive production and so, I'll take the Over in here.
