The Pistons won't have Stuckey for today and his absence might be huge for the team. According to basketball value, the Pistons have an average of offensive rates of 104.2 with Stuckey, but just 91.6 without him! Detroit will then use Knight, Gordon, Prince, Jerebko and Monroe! The Pistons have a poor backcourt with this lineup and they will struggle on their outside shooting and Denver will be able to put most of their effort in the paint.
On the other side, the Nuggets have also a lot of injured players and their lineup for today will be Lawson, Afflalo, Wilson, Faried and Mozgov. They will also have problems on the outside, as with Miller out, Lawson will play big minutes and he will be tired at down the stretch. The Nuggets were torched by Dallas' offense, as they couldn't defend the 3pts line, but Detroit doesn't have any threats on this area. On the other hand, the slow pace of Detroit should cause problems to Denver's offensive game. I expect this game to be an ugly one where both teams will struggle a bit on offense, therefore I'll take the under on this contest.
