Minnesota will struggle today, as the Spurs are an excellent defensive rebounding team and they want their opponents to shoot from the outside. Without Pekovic, the Wolves have no inside presence besides Love, who can't be everywhere. San Antonio is allowing just 59% FG at the rim since the All Star break, while having an excellent opponent offensive rebound of 23% during this span as well. So, either the Wolves have a massive outside game like Dallas had against the Spurs or Minnesota will heavily struggle on the offense today.
On the other hand, San Antonio had finally some rest that they needed they had an average defensive rate of 118 in their last 5 games. So, I expect coach Pop to make some adjustments on improve the defense, especially in the night where they will pay tribute to Bowen. The first two games between these two teams had a slow pace of 86 and I expect a slow pace for this game as well, with the Wolves struggling a bit on offense, while San Antonio should have a decent but not amazing offensive performance. Therefore, I'll be taking both San Antonio and the Under in here.
