This contest won’t be fun to watch as I expect the Bulls to control the tempo of the game…
GSW is coming from a pathetic performance in their last game vs. CHA…31.2% FG, 4-20 3pts and just 18 assists! Obviously, they will do better tonight but there are some alarming signs regarding their offense lately as in 3 of their last 4 games they have failed to reach 20-assists mark.
David Lee played vs. CHA but he looked injured me (he played just 23 minutes) and I don’t think that will dramatically change for tonight. CHI defense w/ Hinrich back in the starting lineup is a great defensive unit and they are just coming from a game in which they held the red hot PHX offense to 38.8% FG & 12 assists.
The good news for GSW is that their defense has been an elite unit lately! In L5 games, their Def. Rtg. = impressive 96.1! Jermaine O’Neal returned to action in the last game and he looked “fine” to me so GSW will have always a pure center on the court tonight – something important as they will face CHI!
CHI offense was able to score 101 pts vs. PHX mainly because of their inside domination vs. undersized PHX frontcourt – Noah & Boozer combined to shoot 16-31 FG for 33 points. I expect CHI to have more problems tonight vs. GSW interior defense w/ healthy Bogut & O’Neal. GSW’s rim defense & defensive rebounding has been great lately, so I also expect think that defense will have a considerable edge in this CHI Off. vs. GSW Def. matchup and therefore, I’m taking the Under in here as my Single Dime Play!
