NBA Free Premium Play 05/03: Memphis Grizzlies @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Memphis  at Oklahoma City
NBA - 541 Memphis Grizzlies @ 542 Oklahoma City Thunder

Play #1

OKC’s head coach has finally made a smart decision by “benching” Thabo Sefolosha while inserting veteran Caron Butler to the starting lineup. MEM’s defense was constantly ignoring Sefolosha and if we add Perkins to the mix, MEM’s defense was focused only in defending 3 players – Westbrook, Durant and Ibaka! That changed in the last game and not coincidently, both Westbrook and Durant had pretty efficient offensive numbers.

Regardless of what happens w/ MEM’s for tonight… OKC’s spot is the “best” possible for this series: coming off a blowout statement win on the road w/ their two best players enjoying big games!

Now we have the Grizzlies’ problems for tonight… Zach Randolph is suspended for tonight and ZBO has been HUGE for them especially when MEM has won their games: in G2 he had 10-20 FG for 25 points; in G3 he struggled to shot the ball w/ 5-20 FG but had 10 rebounds and 6 (!!!) assists while in G5 he had 8-15 FG for 20 points and 10 rebounds!

However, the biggest problem for them IMO is related w/ Mike Conley! Conley suffered a hamstring injury in G6 and he is banged up for tonight’s game. Already without N. Calathes, MEM is really thin @ PG position and if we look to the regular season when Conley missed some games due to injury, MEM really struggled to be competitive.

To make things even worse, Tony Allen is also banged up and he is as well a huge factor for MEM! Not only Westbrook and Durant are super confident for tonight’s game but they also will have more “favorable” matchups vs. banged up players.

I expect OKC to win this contest in a blowout as my fair line in here is OKC-13/-15.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 542 Oklahoma City Thunder (-9.5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Betonline
