NBA Free Premium Play 05/01: Indiana Pacers @ Atlanta Hawks

Indiana  at Atlanta
NBA - 521 Indiana Pacers @ 522 Atlanta Hawks

Play #1

It was pretty clear in the last game that the traditional “big” lineup of the Pacers really don’t have a chance in both ends of the floor against the smaller ATL’s lineup. ATL is killing the Pacers’ defense from the perimeter and in G5, Mike Scott was the key for their 40-pts 2nd quarter outburst.

On the other end of the floor, w/ Hibbert completely “off” in this playoffs, it has been easy to slow down the predictable IND’s offense.

However, in the second half of the last game, IND’s coach Vogel decided to play some “small ball” and the Pacers showed some signs of life! With Copeland on the floor, the Pacers had better floor spacing and it opened up the rim for C.J. Watson, Paul George, David West and Lance Stephenson to get past their man to create open looks for themselves or a teammate whose man had to help.

I’ve just checked the Pace factor of the 1stH vs. 2ndH and the numbers were way different: the pace @ 2nd half >>> pace @ 1st half!

It looks like, IND’s starting lineup will be the same for tonight but I’m pretty sure that the rotations will be different! I don’t expect the Pacers to suddenly become an elite defensive team w/ Copeland on the floor vs. this Hawks’ spread offense! The impact will be made on the offensive end and so, I’m taking the Over in here as my Single Dime Play!

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 521/522 Over 187 @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
