NBA - 509 Utah Jazz @ 510 Houston Rockets
Projected Line: Houston by 9 points
This is a back to back game for Utah, while being also the final game of their road trip and their third game in four nights! On the last game of this series, Houston was on a super bad spot: they went to overtime at Portland, then they played a run and gun game at LA against the Lakers and then, they played a back to back game at Utah, where the letdown was more than obvious. Now, the spot is exactly the opposite and it's Utah that is on a terrible spot.
I like Houston's emotional spot for tonight. It was impossible for them to have any kind of a good performance at Oklahoma City, on a back to back spot, with the starters having played heavy minutes on the first game, plus they had gone previously to Minnesota to go to coach Kevin McHale's daughter funeral, Chandler Parsons didn't play and the Thunder were fired up to face James Harden: the blowout was impossible to prevent. Now for tonight's game, Chandler Parsons is probable, while Marvin Williams in doubtful and Derrick Favors is out.
With Utah being a bad defensive team on pick and roll ball handler and spot ups, they are likely to get crushed by James Harden and the Rockets' good outside shooting, besides the fact that they are #1 on pick and roll ball handler in the league! This is a great bounce back spot for Houston plus they also have revenge against Utah, so I'll be taking the Rockets tonight.
Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 510 Houston Rockets (-6) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
