NBA - 707 Chicago Bulls @ 708 Philadelphia 76ers
Projected Line: Philadelphia by 6 points
Chicago is coming from a poor home loss against the Clippers, where they had 17 turnovers that resulted in 22 points off turnovers for the LA team. The Clippers also shot 7-13 FG on transitions and 21-27 FG at the rim, a good performance that compensated their poor outside shooting game, as they shot just 8-28 FG from 16-23 feet and 4-11 from 3pts. On the other hand, the Bulls' offense played well, if we exclude free throw shooting and turnovers. Chicago had 26 assists, they scored a good number of secon chance points, while grabbing 18 offensive rebounds and shot 10-20 3pts. But they weren't aggressive and ended with just 12 free throws.
This is a mere back to back game for the Bulls, but as always, coach Thibodeau used their starters a lot yesterday, with Carlos Boozer playing 40 minutes, Luol Deng 40 minutes, Joakim Noah 43 minutes and Marco Belinelli 41 minutes. We have also to take in consideration that last night's game started at 9:30PM EST, while they will play tonight at Philadelphia at 7:30PM EST! Due to that, the Bulls will play tonight only around 19.5 hours after yesterday's game ended.
Matchup wise, Philadelphia's guards will have an offensive edge against Kirk Hinrich and Marco Belinelli. Philadelphia will pound them mercilessly, with quick and aggressive penetrations for the basket, while Evan Turner will have a clear mismatch against Marco Belinelli. This will be the second game between these two teams this season and on the first one, Chicago was rested and faced a Sixers team that was on a poor spot at the time. Chicago took advantage of that and won the game. This time, it's Philadelphia's time to return the favor and get a comfortable win tonight against a tired Bulls team. Therefore, I'll be taking Philadelphia in here.
Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 708 Philadelphia 76ers (-2,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
