Projected Line: Cincinnati by 7 points
I expect a comfortable win for the Bengals tonight. Andy Dalton has been having a decent season by being in the top 10 or close to that in every stat. Their offensive line has been struggling a bit this season, but Philadelphia's pass rush has been so weak that Dalton won't get pressured tonight. Philadelphia's coverage has been so terrible lately that A.J. Green will have an excellent matchup down the field against the Eagles' secondary. The Bengals' running game led by BenJarvus Green-Ellis has been also surprisingly good over the past few weeks, so I also expect them to give their team a decent production on tonight's game. Therefore, I expect Cincinnati to have a good offensive game tonight.
On the other hand, I expect Philadelphia to struggle on offense tonight. Nick Foles was quite good down the stretch last week at Tampa Bay, but his numbers have been mediocre and he will have a huge problem on this contest. Philadelphia's offensive line has been nothing short of a disaster lately and Cincinnati leads the league in sacks with 42 sacks in just 13 games! Therefore, Nick Foles will spend tonight's game getting pressured by the Bengals' great pass rush. Cincinnati's secondary has been also playing better over the last few weeks and with Philadelphia being without DeSean Jackson and Brent Celek, I really believe the Eagles will struggle on their passing game tonight. In terms of their running game, Bryce Brown has been impressive, but he is fumble-prone and Cincinnati's run defense is decent and they will limit Brown's damage tonight.
With Cincinnati having a good offensive matchup, while putting the Eagles' offense in trouble, I expect the Bengals to have an easy win tonight, especially when they are the team from the two that is still fighting for a playoff spot. Therefore, I'll be taking the Bengals in here.
