NBA Premium Play 12/09: Orlando Magic @ Phoenix Suns

NBA - 809 Orlando Magic @ 810 Phoenix Suns

Projected Line: 193 points

Phoenix had another loss yesterday, this time at LA against the Clippers. They couldn't hang with the Clippers' aggressive second unit on the fourth quarter. The Clippers just pounded the Suns down low with 64 points in the start. Marcin Gortat was terrible and the Suns offense came from the bench with Luis Scola and Michael Beasley. For today,  the Suns' problems in defending 3pts shooting won't be very well exploited by the Magic, who have been struggling lately on this area, a sign of tiredness after this long road trip they're having. Orlando's offense has been good lately due to cuts and pick and roll ball handler plays, but Phoenix is #13 on pick and roll ball handler defense and #1 on cuts defense, so they should be fine tonight on defense.

The Suns' offense depends a lot from Goran Dragic's pick and rolls and they also have a high volume of post ups with Marcin Gortat and Luis Scola. Orlando has been struggling to defend physical guards, but Phoenix has in Dragic their only player that attacks the basket via dribble penetrations. Orlando is #5 on defending post ups and #4 on cuts defense, so they should be fine on defense tonight, especially with Phoenix playing their third game in four days.

I believe both teams have defensive weapons to counter their opponents' offensive game, therefore I expect a low scoring game and so, I'm taking the Under in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 809/810 Under 197 @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
