NBA - 509 Philadelphia 76ers @ 510 Boston Celtics
Projected Line: 182 points
This is a back-to-back game on this series, as Philadelphia defeated Boston at home yesterday on overtime. The game started with a good pace, with Philadelphia being able to score a lot in transition and attacking well the paint by taking advantage of the Celtics' bad team help defense. Boston managed to make the game close thanks to Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce, who were quite aggressive. These two players were on the field for 45 and 42 minutes, while four of Philadelphia's started ended the game with at least 42 minutes played. The problem is that the game pace got slower and slower as time went by in the game and that made Philadelphia's offense being reduced to half court sets, where they struggled to find easy looks, while Boston wasn't being assertive on the outside shots anymore, especially Jason Terry who shot 1-12 FG. Down the stretch, both teams were completely tired and their offense was a disaster.
Tonight, these two teams will face each other once again, this time in Boston. Both teams will be definitely tired tonight, as they were completely dead tired at the end of yesterday's game and with these two teams shooting a lot from long range, they will struggle tonight on offense, as tired teams don't shoot well from the outside. With a slow pace helping this game being a low scoring game as well, I'll be taking the Under in here.
