NBA - 517 Dallas Mavericks @ 518 Houston Rockets
Projected Line: Houston by 9 points
On yesterday's blowout loss in San Antonio, Houston didn't play their starters a lot, as James Harden played 34 minutes and Patrick Patterson 33 minutes, the two players that were the most time on the field yesterday. Dallas has been struggling a lot on defending opposing guards lately, especially pick and rolls, and this is why Darren Collison was demoted and Derek Fisher is now the starting PG of the team. Fisher has the experience and the intelligence to defend well, but he lacks the legs to do it, so Houston's offense will have a clear edge in here.
The duel between O.J. Mayo and James Harden will be tough for Mayo, as he isn't a good defender and he will have to spend a lot of energy on defense, so he won't be as efficient on offense as he generally is. On the frontcourt, Chris Kaman is banged up and Shawn Marion is out, so Houston will have a clear physical edge in here. I believe this is a great spot for the Rockets to crush their divisional rivals and therefore, I'll be taking Houston in here.
Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 518 Houston Rockets (-6) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
