NBA - 501 Miami Heat @ 502 Chicago Bulls

Projected line: 185 points | Chicago by 6 points
Playoffs are all about matchups and adjustments and for the first contest of this series, I think that the Bulls have the edge in two critical areas: Point Guard and Center position.
The Heat will eventually make their adjustments throughout the series, but for today, I expect Derrick Rose to have a monster game and the Bulls dominating the boards with Noah being the X factor.
Jrue Holiday gave some fits to Miami in the first round, as he was the Sixers’ best player and unfortunately Rajon Rondo got injured (in G3) in the last round against Miami, so the Heat got some “lucky” in that matchup. Nevertheless, Rose is way better than Rondo in terms of offensive skills.
Miami also had some “luck” so far in the playoffs because they’ve faced teams who really didn’t have a dominant center! Spencer Hawes isn't certainly a dominant force down low, while Jermaine O’Neal, Shaq or Krstic were banged up or even not played against Miami.
These two edges are in my opinion big enough to overpower the excellence of Wade & LeBron James.
I’m also taking the Over in this contest…
The Bulls delivered a dominant defensive performance against Atlanta in Game 4, but I don’t think that they will be able to shut down the Heat. First of all, unlike the Hawks, the Heat are ultra aggressive in attacking the paint. While the Hawks got stagnant and simply attempted too many shots from the outside, Wade and/or Lebron will attack the paint and get his FT’s like usual.
In the regular season Miami scored only 96, 89 and 86 points, but they were a different team back then. Note that James did not play in first game; Bosh had his worst game of his career in game 2 (1-18 FG) and the Heat was mired in a 6-games losing streak in G3 (without any kind of confidence).
Bottom line, I expect two confident teams for tonight. Eventually we will win the Over at the end with late Free Throws, while the Bulls have a better matchup for Game 1.
