Both teams will send starting pitchers who have good conditions to have a quality outing tonight. The Dodgers will send Billingsley to the mount and he is coming from a game where he struggled a bit by allowing 4 ER with a 5.68 ERA and 4.51 FIP. However, in the previous six starts he had had a FIP always lower than 2.6 so, today with 5 days rest, he has a good spot to bounce back and have another great outing tonight.
On the other hand, Correia is coming from a good outing against Arizona, where after allowing two runs in the 1st inning, he settled down and dominated the Dbacks. He had a 4.50 ERA in that game with a 2.93 FIP and with him fighting for a spot in the rotation after Wandy joining the team, he is fully motivated to show his team that he deserves the trust to continue being on the SP rotation. With both teams having their SP with good performances tonight, I believe we are into a tight game where a team should end up winning with a result similar to a 3-2 or 4-3. Therefore, I'll be taking the Under on this contest.
