Washington finished the 1st half of the season with their first road trip, a great sign of that they are certainly improving. After committing 18.4 turnovers per game in their last 10 games, they reduced that number to 15.1 turnovers in their last eight games. They have been working hard to get their team back on track during the break and it's clear that they have been more competitive in their last few games, especially after their coach started using their current lineup that clearly seems to be the correct one.
On the other hand, Indiana was without Tamika Catchings until yesterday due to the Olympics and they have in Washington a tricky opponent. The Mystics have a taller and stronger frontcourt and they will have a clear rebounding edge on this contest, especially has Indiana has only grabbed 44.08, 46.67, 44.51, 44.98, 42.65 and 39.29% of the rebounds on their last six games, while the Mystics are #3 on the league in offensive rebounding.
With the Mystics being clearly improved and having defeated Indiana early on this season, it's clear that Washington has enough options on their game to make Indiana struggle a bit on this contest since their best player Catchings won't surely be at 100% tonight. Therefore and looking at the very big spread line, I'll be taking the Mystics tonight.
