MLB - 913 Miami Marlins @ 914 Colorado Rockies
(Starting Pitchers: W. LeBlanc vs J. Francis)
Since LeBlanc joined Miami, he allowed just one earned run in the three starts he has already made for the Marlins. He was limited on his first two starts and pitched just for 4IP, but he pitched 7IP on his last start. Even though he looked good, he pitched at Atlanta, in NY against the Mets and at home, in three pitcher-friendly parks, something that helps a flyball SP like him. However, on a hitter-friendly park like Colorado's, he will be in trouble, especially when Miami has pretty much no offense to compensate any struggle from LeBlanc.
The Rockies will start Francis tonight and he has been pitching rather well with 3 days rest, with 4.67 ERA and .810 OPS. His FIP on his last five games was 6.47, 6.85, 10.19, 6.10 and 6.60, not very impressive, however he will be facing the Marlins, who are slumping on offense right now and they don't seem to be able to cause a lot of problems to anybody right now.
With the Rockies having a tremendous offensive edge on this contest and with neither team having a real SP edge on this contest, I believe Colorado will repeat yesterday's win over Miami today and so, I'll take them in here.
