This is a great matchup for Oklahoma City's offense. Phoenix has the worst 3pts defense in the league by allowing 40.4% 3pts and Oklahoma City is #2 on 3pts offense with 40.2% 3pts. The individual matchups between Jared Dudley vs Kevin Durant and Goran Dragic vs Russell Westbrook are also very offensive prone. The Thunder has been shooting more than 30% of their shots at the rim lately and the Suns rim defense has been allowing 68% FG over the last 10 games, so there's another offensive edge for Oklahoma City today. Oklahoma City doesn't have the pressure of having to defend well to beat the Suns and so, they will easily crush Phoenix's defense today and have another huge offensive game like the one they had in Houston.
So, the key in here will be to know how will the Suns offense work today. Oklahoma City's defense is #25 on transitions and so, Phoenix has a nice offensive edge in here. Also Luis Scola and Marcin Gortat should be able to have good offensive performances today. Oklahoma City will have a mindset on blowing out the Suns via offense today, so I don't believe they will put a lot of effort on defense today. The pace should also be a fairly fast one, therefore I see this game being a very high scoring one and so, I'll be taking the Over in here.
