NBA Premium Play 01/12: Houston Rockets @ Philadelphia 76ers

NBA - 509 Houston Rockets @ 510 Philadelphia 76ers

Projected Line: Philadelphia by 4 points

This is a horrible spot for Houston and they are the kind of team that really fades away on poor spots. Yesterday, as usual, Houston used their starters on heavy minutes with James Harden playing over 40 minutes, Jeremy Lin 36 minutes and Chandler Parsons 32 minutes. On this matchup against the Sixers, it's important to look on two areas to see if Houston's offense will be limited or not: pick and rolls & transitions. Philadelphia isn't a good pick and roll defense, but they are #3 on transition defense and they are one of the teams that allows fewer fast break points per game. Philadelphia has been struggling against skilled frontcourts, but Houston isn't one of these teams.

Philadelphia will have a big offensive edge with Jrue Holiday, who should outplay a mediocre defender like Jeremy Lin with ease. I expect a big offensive game from the Sixers tonight, while they should limit a Rockets offense on a poor spot, therefore I'll be taking Philadelphia tonight.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 510 Philadelphia 76ers (-1) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
