NBA - 501 Indiana Pacers @ 502 Charlotte Bobcats
Projected Line: 189 points
This is a terrible spot for Charlotte, as they will play their fourth game in five days. The only good news for them is that they had a lot of people playing last night at Boston and no player was on the court for a lot of time, with Hakim Warrick (34 minutes) and Ben Gordon (30 minutes) being the players with more time on the court. Due to Kemba Walker's poor game (4-16 FG), he played just 28 minutes against the Celtics. Now back at home, I expect Charlotte to set up a fast pace on this game as they generally do at home (92.14 average pace at home vs 88.97 pace on the road), as they have no chance against the Pacers on a slow paced game.
On the previous game between these two teams, Paul George didn't play and Indiana missed him, as Dominic McGuire is a good defender, but a complete zero on offense. Even with George not playing, Charlotte showed how poor their perimeter defense is by allowing Indiana to shoot 11-28 3pts. This will be the third game between these two teams and I expect Indiana to be more than ready to avoid falling on Charlotte's defensive traps and have a big offensive game in here. With Coach Mike Dunlap finally deciding to insert a shooter on the Bobcats's starting lineup, Charlotte actually shot 46.2% FG against the Pacers last Saturday night. I expect them to have another decent offensive game tonight.
Therefore, I believe this game will be a relatively high scoring game and so, I'll be taking the Over in here.
