NBA - 519 Golden State Warriors @ 520 Los Angeles Clippers
Projected Line: 197 points
This isn't a good spot for the Clippers, as they will play their fourth game in five nights, while they also coming from a huge effort last night in their win against the Lakers! The Clippers took advantage of the Lakers' lack of speed to pound them in transition with 8-13 FG and also on the mismatch they had with Blake Griffin against Pau Gasol. The Clippers got crushed at Golden State earlier on this week, on a very aggressive game with 39 + 22 FT attempts! Both teams committed a lot of turnovers and that resulted in a lot of transition points from both teams, with the Clippers scoring 21 fast break points, while Golden State scored 23 points.
Golden State managed to limit the Clippers to just 36% FG, with an excellent gameplan to stop Chris Paul, who had "just" 6 assists. With this spot being so poor for the Clippers, I expect them to struggle on offense, even though their numbers won't likely be as bad as they were last Wednesday. The Warriors have been an elite defensive lately with 87.61, 93.53, 90.78 and 96.79 defensive ratings on their last four games! Impressive! The X factor on this game will be really what the Warriors will be able to do on offense tonight. They shot 12-23 3pts last Wednesday with Stephen Curry scoring 25 points in the first half, but I don't expect such huge numbers to be repeated tonight. Also note that Jarrett Jack is questionable for tonight and he is an important piece of the Warriors offense. I don't expect a very high scoring game in here and so. I'll be taking the Under on this contest.
