| Miami at Colorado |
| MLB - 961 Miami Marlins @ 962 Colorado Rockies (Starting Pitchers: R. Nolasco vs A. White) I took the Dodgers on Nolasco's last start and I lost due to the lack of clutch hitting from the team from LA, as in just 5IP, Nolasco suffered 9 hits but that only resulted in two runs. With this win, Nolasco finally broke his five games losing streak, but the truth is that he has been awful. He posted a FIP of 3.90, 4.26, 5.70, 7.41 and 5.60 on his last five starts, while also posting a bad K/BB ratio, as his K% on his last two games has been below 10%! He can't really strikeout anybody, he is tremendously hittable and so, he will be an easy target on a hitting-friendly park like Colorado's. On the other side, the Rockies will start White and he has started three games since his comeback. He did quite well on those outings, but always limited in terms of innings. He didn't have a great performance in San Francisco on his last outing, as he left the game with a 3-3 tie after allowing seven hits and two walks. His FIP on his last three games has been 3.10, 5.85 and 3.10 and he is also much better against RH batters than LH ones. The good news for him is that the Marlins' batters aren't a huge threat to anybody and even though Cook might suffer a bit tonight, Nolasco will surely suffer much more at the hands of the great offensive lineup of the Rockies. Therefore, I expect a win from Colorado tonight and so, I'll take them in here. Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 962 Colorado Rockies (w/ A. White) @ -118 / 1.85 on 5Dimes |
