Cleveland at Chicago |
NBA - 707 Cleveland Cavaliers @ 708 Chicago Bulls Projected Line: 190 points Chicago is now using their frontcourt more on offense and the truth is that their frontcourt combined for 75 points and 25 rebounds in their game against Orlando. Then, against Miami, the Bulls shot 15-25 FG at the rim and outscored the Heat by 46-34 in the paint. Chicago also outrebounded Miami by 48-28 and 19-4 on offensive boards. They will now face the poor interior defense of the Cavaliers that has been allowing 69% FG at the rim this season. The Bulls are also using more post ups and cuts and Cleveland's defense is #28 on post up defense. Cleveland lost their last game by 8 points against Houston, but that was due to James Harden having some huge plays down the stretch. Cleveland has improved a bit lately on offense with a surprising fast pace! Their also is now showing more volume and better efficiency on isolations, pick and roll ball handler plays, spot ups and transitions and the truth is that Chicago's defense is #19 on isolations, #14 on pick and roll ball handler palys, #2 on spot ups and #28 on transitions! Kyrie Irving is just too fast for the Bulls guards, while the Cavaliers are now playing undersized and therefore looking better on transition plays. I expect a relatively fast pace in here, with Chicago pounding Cleveland down low and the Cavaliers having some edges on offense as well, especially with Kyrie Irving, therefore I'll be taking the Over in here.
