NBA Premium Play 11/05: Phoenix Suns @ Miami Heat

NBA - 503 Phoenix Suns @ 504 Miami Heat

Projected Line: Miami by 17 points

Yesterday I took both Orlando -1.5 and the Over 192.5 in their game against Phoenix, without knowing that one of the top offensive players of Orlando, Jameer Nelson, wouldn't play. Still, the Magic has no issues in blowing out the Suns! In the writeup of that game, I wrote the following about Phoenix:

"The Magic will now face Phoenix and I watched both games the Suns have already played on the regular season, so I can say that Phoenix isn't having the same good chemistry that Orlando already possesses. Their bench is simply awful and they are still learning the team's offense. Note that in their game against Detroit, they had just 15 assists. The good news is that we are in front of two teams who have been playing on a fast pace in all games they've played so far, so we will have a fast paced game in here. Phoenix has a soft frontcourt, so Glen Davis has conditions to have a good offensive game again."

Phoenix lacks the athleticism in the perimeter to stop the opposing guards from penetrating, while at the same time their frontcourt isn't physical enough to provide some team help defense. That was clearly evident in their game against Orlando yesterday. Today, against a rested team of Miami, I expect the Suns to get crushed. Can you imagine Michael Beasley or Luis Scola defending Lebron James? Good luck with that!

Miami will do to Phoenix what Orlando did to them yesterday, but with a much bigger efficiency. The Suns have a weak bench and they showed that during the preseason and they haven't improved during the regular season. On a back to back game for them, in a game where Miami will want to run, the Suns will simply collapse physically. The Heat are 2-1, but those three games were against good teams that will surely be present in the playoffs. Now against a lowly team in a good spot, I expect Miami to have a clear blowout win in here. I'm taking the Heat tonight.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 504 Miami Heat (-13) @ -110 / 1.91 on 5Dimes
