Sacramento had the following offensive rates in their first three games of the season: 89.69, 85.88 and 92.13! To make things even worse for them, they weren't able to have at least 20 assists in a game: 14, 17 and 19! They continue having a terrible ball movement, with a poor shot selection and even on their supposed main offensive strength, finishing near the basket, they are being quite poor! With the Kings' offense struggling to score near the basket, they will struggle heavily today! Against the Bulls, Sacramento shot 53.7% around the basket. They were only able to shoot 43.2% near the basket against Minnesota in their second game of the season and they were able to shoot even worse in their third game against Indiana by shooting just 40.9%! By the way, the league's average around the rim is currently at 56.5%!
The Kings will play their first home game of the season and they will be fired up, however the Warriors aren't that easy opponent to score like they were a few seasons ago, especially with Andrew Bogut ready to play! I'm also liking how rookie Festus Ezeli is playing, specially on defense, so I don't believe Sacramento will be able to score a lot of easy points tonight. Sacramento's only positive factor for now is the fact that they are defending quite well, with a lot of effort. The result of that is the fact that have allowed a offensive rate of 99.34, 98.96 and 96.96 to their opponents in their first three games of the season! I expect the Kings to show a good defensive effort once again tonight. Golden State is coming from an offensive explosion on their last game against the Clippers, but that was mostly due to the Clippers' lazy spot, something that Sacramento won't surely be on their home debut and after losing their first three games of the season. I expect a relatively low scoring game in here with both teams showing some decent defense and therefore, I'll be taking the Under in here.
